I was wondering if anyone knew whether the 65mm TB would be a direct bolt on for a 98 SVT? Any help or info would be great.

Yes but the dyno is not good. Stock flows plenty from what I know.

Unless you have some sort of A/F adjuster, you'll probably lose a few hp doing that. With the ability to adjust A/F, you are golden and it is a great mod.

It's also not a "direct" bolt-on. It will require are few modifications to work properly.

There is always ebay. Or (I can't believe I'm doing this) SHO Shop sells a 63mm TB which is a bored out SVT TB. Direct bolt on. Summit has some 65mm and 70mm TB's in the Mustang section of the catalogue.

It's the TB off a 4.6L SOHC Mustang (some crown vics)

Not the 5.0

Summit has some for 4.6's too. BBK-1700 (70mm), -1701 (75mm). Cheaper than SHO no less.

Don't forget, just switching the MAF does not mean gains. The maf needs to be calibrated for conical air filter. Can someone explain this a little better of direct to the old post on this topic.
