After a stunning junkyard victory yesterday, I am now armed with the short plastic fuel line that goes from the fuel pump to the fuel filter on the passenger side of the car. The stealership really earned its namesake when they said I could only buy the replacement line as part of a $300 bundle of various fuel lines. I broke the connector to the fuel filter a while back, and, well, I think I've pushed the duct tape as far as it can go.

Anywho, I got the replacement junkyard fuel line off a tank that was already removed, so I'm not sure if I'll have enough clearance to just snake the new one back in there. Has anyone done this? Will I have to drop the tank?

And almost as good as finding the replacement fuel line? I noticed a cupholder fix laying around and snatched that right up. Sweet!

Paul9 also broke it when he changed his fuel filter but he did not follow up to post whether he got the part from the junkyard or how he installed it.
