Once the ECM notices slipping in overdrive does that mean the torque converter is toast?
Had some bang shifting after a few long highway trips that a new TSS didn't fix. Then had the check engine light came on (p1704?) for slippage. Thinking about replacing the valve body and seeing what happens.
