I got a new noise to worry about...car is a 98 v6 2.5l
Noise is a clicking or clacking sound when brakes depressed...is comming from passenger rear (which are drums). The sound varies with speed.

Recently I put on new shoes and drums..if that is useful to the sluething crew.

oh yeah...Happy New Year.....we went around the sun again.

Is it like "bup/bup" sound, slower as you slow down? I have that noise in my right rear, new drum, I will try new shoes next..Sometimes it goes away.

Bleeding the brakes won't make any noises go away.

It will if the noise is caused by brakes locking up due to moisture in the lines.
