... in my car im sure somebody else has done this too, how did you get them out? I don't have a spare key and the car is at home in the country, so getting a cop out thre is gonna cost me. looked at trying to break in and can't see anyway of doing it. so how can i break into my car without breaking anything? the car is a '99 SE Sport, 24V(if that matters) no alarm system other then what came with it

And what is the cop going to do? Smash the window out? Locksmith is the only one that can do it.

or a tow truck driver. most garages with tow trucks can do lock out service. do you have AAA? if so they offer free lock out service.

Yea if you own a 78 Oldsmobile. Good luck using a slim jim with powerlocks. I missed where cops had locksmith training.

thats what the big bar is for. alright its not really a bar, but it is a long 1/4" rod. you put a bladder bag in between the door and the frame, pump the bag up and the door opens a little, enough to slide the rod in. you then use it to either press teh unlock button or, pull the door handle.

I locked the keys in my '98 when I had it, AAA used a slim jim and had the thing open in about 3 minutes. I believe the guy went about it on the passenger side back door.

AAA unlocked my SVT within about 3 mins.
They put a little inflatable ballon thing in between the crack of the front and rear door, pumped it up a tiny bit to make the door stick out a little. Then with that space, used a tiny little metal bar to push the lock open. Done.

Good advise stated above.
When I locked my car keys in my car (99Tour no power options) I had my friend drive me 15 miles to my house and 15 miles back to school (uphill in snow both ways..just playing) and all it cost me was lunch.

That's because cops in Grand Rapids dedicate their time to training for the tough streets, ghettos, and thugs. They don't have time for locksmith training like they do in Northern Wisconsin.
