make a skid plate for it...

Wont do anything

sure it would, if you scraped it lightly, it would only scrape the metal or whatever you made it out of

if you hit it hard enough to do actual damage and not just minor scrapes, then you shouldnt be driving with it on anyways.

skid plates have been shown to be of little help. any light scraping will occur underneath on the bottom of the splitter, where it won't be seen anyways. and in addition, they increase the approach angle of the car on steeper inclines, increasing the odds of actually doing serious damage.

I had one and just recently took it off. It held up really well and my car is extremely low. It took quite a beating but never cracked, it chipped more than anything and I had no skid plate, they're not necessary. The one thing I hated was how annoying driving became with it on.

All i hear from people is how good my car looks with it on. When i took my car over to my buddies the other day, with my rims and mirko off of course for teh winter. They all where amazed how boring my car looks now.

It does looking boring

Come on spring hurry up!!

And to think i almost sold it. I might too if my car is too low after i put on my springs!!

I have no peersonal experience, but iirc someone had a plate on theirs and it still shattered. :shrugs:

...i dont think it would destroy it,there not cheap thin fiberglass, very solid pieces

in my opinion.... the smallest chunk out of the mirko makes it look like [censored]... trust me haha.. i've had mine, VERY minorly hit it on something that couldnt even be seen, and it took a 2 inch chunk out of it-- later, i rear end someone and it's completely gone haha- good luck, i know i'll need it with my next one
