my shifter is kinda hard to push over to 1 / 2 , and pushing up in to 1st or putting it in 2nd it feels stiff very rubbery/ gel like same with 5th ... But it dont really have a feel , going from 1st to 2nd you cant really tell if your in 2nd fully ..
hard to explain but you get the drift
3/4 seem nice tho
any ideas im not sure if this is comon or not .
just the linkage ? bushings ? tranny fluid ?

Is it cable or rod shift? If cable, Probably check that all the bolts are tight on your shifter at the pivot point (inside under the shift boot). Check the bushing on the connecting pins/balls where the cables hook up to the shift tower actuator levers (At the transmission) and see if the connectors are worn. Last, if everything else looks good you may have to pull the shift tower and see if the plastic bushings are cracked/worn. Search for that there are pictures if you look hard enough.

the shifter is rod shift . i oild and checked the bushings under the car . little improvement ,
haha no its always said "" feels like rubber ""

Then pay no attention to what I wrote above, I don't know the problem points of the rod shift. Ask Todras, he has rod shift.
