Well, went out and started the car today to go to work, and noticed a little steam (smoke I guess) coming out from under the hood. Opened the hood, and the terminal was steaming (looks like the wire from the alternator). Any ideas?

Did it smell like anything? And what color was it? If it was steam (ie clear/white and odorless), might just be some condenstaion evaporating. If it smelled weird, or you start noticing problems, then start worrying.

I went out and took another look at it, and it was corrosion. I cleaned it off, threw some baking soda on it, and it's fixed. Thanks for the tips though!

Did you actually take the battery off and scrub the teminals, etc? Also, I did this recently... you can use a chrome brush on a dremel, and it cleans the battery terminals great.

I just did a little bit (I'm still at work), but as soon as I get home, I'm taking the whole thing out and doing a thorough job on it. For now, it's good enough. Thanks though!
