You may want to look at the plastic tube that goes from the PCV valve to the emissions valve.
This plastic tube can develop small pin holes or break and will cause this exact condition.

Must keep foot on gas to keep engine running.

I had my fuel pump go bad and the pressure test wouldn't show anything.
It was infact bad on the prime cycle.
i.e turn key, don't start engine, it was priming at 5 psi each key cycle.

Key off.

Release the fuel pressure.

Install fuel pressure tester.

Scan Tool connected.

Key on, engine off.

Enter Output Test Mode (refer to «Section 2A») and run the fuel pump to obtain maximum fuel pressure.

Is fuel pressure between 35 and 40 psi (240-280 kPa)?

the car stall on me, clean cut like i shut the key off. the problem mostly STARTS in wet conditions(like if it was raining for a few days). the car will stall, and wont start up again for 5-10 minutes. then she'll start back up again only to do the same thing shortly after UNLESS i keep my foot on the gas.
parts i've changed so far in order :
CRANK SENSOR
IAC - twice!
COMPUTER
please someone help me.. when i bring it to the shop and they put it on the scanner, no codes come up. the only code that came up once was the IAC, thats why i changed it.

WTF is my problem. i can't figure it out.. i'm about to get rid of this car if this keeps happening.

Check your wire insulation up by firewall on passenger side leading to PCM. Is the insulation falling off, wires touching, if so tape em up. check wiring under the hood area fuse box. Is the insulation falling off, if so you can try to tape the wires if it is really bad you will need new wire harness.

You say problem occurs mostly when it is raining/wet. Check wire leads to crank / cam sensor.....

i looked at those hoses and they were all CRACKED!!!
i think that may have been the problem. i replaced them, so i have to drive it around a few days and see if it happens. hopefully it'll rain so i really can test it.
thank you all!!
i'm keeping my fingers crossed and hope this is finally it!

Hi, I just had the same problem with cracked PCV rubber hose. Solved my cold start dying/stoplight dying first 5 minutes/rough idle cold/still a little rough idle hot problem. Here was my post! Great pictures on this thread for the PCV!
