That sucker is going to fly. Can't wait until the aftermarket picks up on this. The Ecotec can handle tons of boost with no problems. Might be seeing 400hp turbo Solstices and Skys running around soon.

Scarily enough, GM strengthened the ecotec, which was already handling 700 HP on stock internals. This one is supposed to support on the order of 800 HP on stock internals. That and the semi-advanced turbo and ingenious filtering system makes this the benchmark that Mazda will have to work hard to beat.

That is a really cool car but I want to to know how much it's going to cost. The big three are all putting out neat and powerful cars but to me they are not affordable. Hight 20's and low 30's is to much to pay. Plus I would like to see them do what they did in the late 60's early 70's. Were you could order the go fast goodies and not have to buy all the other bells and whistles.

To me it looks like a regular Solstice, nothing too special there. The powertrain looks pretty sweet but I think I would take a Miata any day over a Solstice.

Yeah, that whole package looks pretty sweet. Should be a pretty good buy at high-$20's. Interested to see Mazda's response too though.
