Ok, Im kinda stupid, so I guess I dont understand. The laser is concentrated light(basicly), Right? So is the concentrated light heating the oxygen in the balloons to expand them to cause explosion? That does look fun as heck.

No, it's just putting a hole in em. The green laser won't put a hole in everything though. I believe color of the material matters.
