I have a 99 SE. How much gains should I expect if I get the SVT Intake Conversion kit from SP motorsports? Ill prolly go with a 80mm MAF,aluminum intake pipe, and a KKM or SHO shop cold air intake. Thanks

Shane- An 80mm maf will most likely be a waste without something to tune the fuel to that much air. Also consider a new y pipe instead. You can only get as much air in as you can get out.
If it's true that we are here to help others, then what exactly are the others here for?

i put on the svt intake manifold with an svt throttle body and a proflow maf,bat pipe and kkm, haven't put it on the dyno but it feels a lil quicker than my bored out duratec intake with svt t\b,when i put that combo on it was a big difference over stock.

Keep in mind that the SVT makes 25 to 30 HP more than the regular V6, and that is with hotter cams and better exhaust so you will not make 25 to 30 HP just from the intake improvements by itself. Even if you make modifications equilivant to the SVT intake and exhaust, you will still lack the hotter cams.
That said, some regular V6 owners have made improvements that get the wheel HP dyno readings up to about the same as the stock SVT readings without the SVT cams. A few mods on the SVT will put it up still more though.

I did one on a 98se. svt lower,(stock se injectors) svt upper, svt tb,bosch plat.+4s, and injen intake pipe. An educated guess would say 15-20. Very good increase in power and sounds almost like stock svt. The se and my svt will race and try to get a good guess-timate. email @ blegit20@aol.com w/ questions.
