So I finally decided to replace my blower resistor today. It usually works perfectly, but gradually getting worse and worse over the past year or so. It'll go 4-5 months, no problems, then a week where it gets stuck on high, on and off during the day.
So I unplug the connector to find it was burnt up pretty bad. One wires shielding was actually missing at the base. Resistor was burnt pretty bad too.
Anyone else ever see this on theirs? And who do I call to complain about this?
BTW, part number for the resistor is no longer YS4Z18591BA. It is now
3M5Z18591BA. It also went up a few bucks from the old price.
