I'm going to do the vacuum method to clean the intakes, what kind of vacuum hose do i need? Will fish tank hose do the trick? Where do i get the right hose, a normal parts store? And also, do I feed the hose in, or just enough to feed the fluid through? Thanks!

i bought the hose at home depot, it is called "Watts Clear Vinyl Tubing, it is 1/4 inch diameter, which is very close to the line on my car (1997 V6) it was probably $2 for alot of it, more than needed, i used this page for help, you've probably seen it http://www.contour.org/mods/mods.php?s=howto&displayid=43

I've used fish tank hose a few times. I found that SeaFoam seems to work better than Berryman's. Ijust fed one end into the cleaner can, and the other into the vacuum ports as the engine is running. You have to babysit the throttle to keep it running... Be careful as once you have got the cleaner being sucked in, it goes very quickly.

Wisdom around this site is that this cleaning method is best used AFTER you have done the full tear-down method, as kind of maintenance to help keep it clean.
