Last saturday (24th), I was climbing around in trees and grapevines like I often do. I am pretty careful and test every vine etc and maybe it was the colf or something, but the dang vine broke on me.
I did not see it coming, there was like a blur and then WHAM! Now my back is sore, but I think I'll be ok.

After I caught my breath I was able to get up and walk the mile back to my house.
And I was pleased to find that I have normal range of motion of my neck and back and not weird of shooting pains, but dang is my back sore!!! I landed pretty much on my upper back, my feet hitting slightly first and absorbing a little.
I'm lucky because I fell 23 feet and landed between two large rocks and suffer only minor injury. Thank God I'm alive!! I will be more careful from now on!! I AM SO SORE THOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!

Lol, yes I know it's weird, but I'm into body weight exercises. And also as part of my hobby/strength training method I climb trees and vines. Usually climbing vines barehanded as far as I can, and climbing trees without branches etc...
And I did learn something.. actually I was reminded of how fast life could end, and also to be more careful, but heck no I'm not going to stop climbing things.

And I would rock climb, but yeah no rocks in ohio, so what else can ya do.

We used to play paintball behind a place here called Quebecor Printing. Plenty of high trees, but there's an even better catch. Where we played, there was a sort of natural wall that was excavated to separate the company's land and this back lot. Who knows why. Anyways, I used to snipe from the trees sitting on the land behind the wall, so it's even higher up and gives me the advantage

Never fell out of them, but I did nail one head on at the same location riding my bike out of a half pipe that was made there. The guy laughed at me when I was returning my bike for repairs wondering, "What the hell did you do again?" ~ staring at my nearly 90 degree bent front wheel. Classic

Might want to go in depth as to why you're still hurting. I imagine free falling like that rips up ligaments and muscles unnoticed :shrugs:

I'm not a big fan of rock climbing in gyms, I prefer reality. Somehow pieces of plastic screwed to the wall just don't do much for me.
I wanted to to gymnastics when i was younger but never had a chance, besides it's just fun to climb trees
