Lotus. Silly kids. Location: HI. That's going to cost a bit to ship. It looks like it has Wolfrace wheels on it too.

terry wanted to set the owner straight... "Under the hood should be a DARE # plate...DARE, Design And Research Egineering was formed by Ivor Walklett and his brother, they sold off part of the Ginetta name/modles.this is NOT a Ginetta...came from the same stable but is the same car as my red beast...His brother died before the TG went into production..Ivor is a great guy and DARE is in Essex,England not far from wher I used to live...and the wheels on my TG are also 'wolfies!!!!...made in a town caled Maldon, about 5 miles up the road from the DARE plant..."

It looks like a sweet car, I'd definitely drive it. It'd be cooler with a different engine in it though.

Zetecs are great engines
At least the one in my Contour took a beating, and when I sold her she purred like a kitten, yet roared like a lion when I floored it. 3.0L Vulcan however, much better roar
Least 2.0 Zetecs sound better than the 1.9L Escorts

not to jack the thread but i had a ride for a few auto-x laps in a real super seven with a zetec motor that was fully modified. it was probably one of the most scary experiences i have ever had. the owner of the car claims it is one of the fastest cars in southern california (at least in the scca) and i believe him. face-distortingly fast.
koni kit - hpp rstb
camber/plates - cf (yikes!)
polyroll resistors - TCA's
WR headers/ypipe -TB hiflow cat
SFC's - XCal2
-dreaming of 3L-

A good friend of mine has this Zetec-powered Lotus 7 that I can drive any time I want to . It's called a Birkin & sports a 190-horse Dunnell-tuned (and then some ) Zetec w/laptop programable management system . He really pounds the miles on it (basically his daily driver spring-fall) , but he's always messing with the darn thing . His latest mad was doing new , hot cams & milling the head (this summer) . It was crazy-fast when he first finished it , but it just keeps getting crazier !
The car above appears (to me) to be a Birkin also ...
