Did a quick search didnt find anything, anyways i noticed the other day i relized my rear defroster wasnt working. I noticed the light didnt come on. A long time ago when it did work, i relized after a while the light would go out by itself. so i dont know if its on a timer, or if it knows when the window is defrosted  Anywas is this a common prob.? easy fix. Is it likely its just the switch? Any easy way to test what bad? Thanks guys.

Check fuse (owners manual lists) It is on a timer, the central timer, see if the dome lights still shut off in 12 seconds, or the delay wipers work ok.

Possibilities: F1 in the under hood fuse box F29 in the underdash fuse box Relay in the same Switch assy Central timer assy For fuse layout, consult owner's manual. Downloads of owner's manual available at www.fleet.ford.comSteve

Both work fine, but i havent checked the fuses. So thats first, thanks guys.
