The ad says it has a Duratec. Alternatively though, that doesn't look like a 2002 Duratec when you see the underhood picture.
I think it's a Vulcan motor. From what I remember, Duratecs were optional on SES and standard on SEL, but I don't think they were available on the SE. I could be wrong though, they could've been optional on the SE too.

They have a sale at the local Ford dealers for brand new 04 Tauruses for $10,999.00. The Chevy dealers have the same deal on 04 Impalas. Whatever they don't sell, they mark down.

Oh! Well I spent more than that on this 2002. What kind of 04 Taurus could I have bought for $10,999.00? Maybe I should have done more research.
Regardless, I am too old for buyer's regret anymore. My wife will like this car just fine.

The seller still has one left. 100 mile 2002 Taurus He says he had three total from an overseas order that was never shipped. Ford confirmed I have a full three year 36,000 mile bumper to bumper new car warranty on the one I bought.
