First, as I have discovered here the '95 Contiques had cheap (I'm suprised ) instrument panel facias. But I seem to recall mention of the '96 and up instrument facias are a better quality. Mine is crap. A previous owner removed the outer plastic on the center vents and all but one hole that holds the facia to the dash are broke, so it just kinda sits there. So, if the '96 and up are better are the mounting holes the same? Also, since I have traction control do I have to get a facia with the traction control hole or is it a removeable blank? Second, being that I have a Mystique which has the rear dome light I am wondering if the dome light is suppose to go on when the doors are opened? Mine doesn't. It works when the switch is moved to the always on position, tho. Third, the passenger front door handle light is out. Is that fixable??

1. I dunno anything about the 96/97 being higher quality, but I do know those little horizontal plastic parts break really easily for the center vents

2. It's just a removable blank... pop out your switch, pop out the blank on the new one, pop in your switch. Or now that I see you have a Mystique... I dunno there.

4. Are you talking about the halo around the key cylinder (outside), or the interior door handle? If the interior, you can replace it, but I coudln't find a green one (just white and blue). You can throw in some LEDs if you would prefer, but then you need a drill to modify the housing.

If the exterior, I dunno... probly need the light off another 95 if it's not replaceable (96+ don't have em)

RE 2) I kinda thought it might be a removable blank but I didn't look close, yet. Course I ain't gonna worry about it right away as I'll have to drive about 40 miles to the nearsest salvage yard that allows people to go get their own parts. RE: 3) Looks like I'll have to get a wiring schematic and figure out how the wires go. RE: 4) Yeah the interior door handle; blue would be better than white so I'll have to look into it. Is it a rather common bulb? Or is it Ford only?
