After removing the stock fuel door assembly (which I did not replace), I very carefully drilled holes in the 3 (I think) fender tabs and used stainless hex screws from Sears hardware. I got enough to do all of the existing ones on the new assembly. I used longer ones in the drilled holes. You have to be extremely careful drilling the holes to make sure the new fuel door assembly lays flat inside the fender. You don't want it sticking out in the front/rear. It's not a big deal, just take your time and you should be fine.
