Looking at the install pics, it appears to be an intake restriction. Something like the "Tornado" or "Vortex". It's crap.

Right, the guys at Surbo have agreed to give me one to test on my mondeo. Once i've got it all running i'm going to publish a review on my site. I'll let you know the outcome!

English translation of website: It looks like you're supposed to put this thing in your intake, bring your RPMs up while in gear, and then let off the gas and let the engine vacuum spin it up... then once it's spinning, you put your foot back on the gas and it claims to use its momentum to generate some boost and give you better acceleration, at least for a second or two. Yeah, OK.
This is snake oil! Even if it does what it claims to do, while you're playing with the gas pedal hoping to get a tiny bit of extra power for about 1 second, somebody's already kicking your ass. Plus, when you're really racing, this thing will just act as a restriction and slow you down.
