Im having this problem on my 01 focus zx3. When i hit a dip or speed bump on compression i get a deep ruump type vibration. Seems to be coming from the pass. side of the car. Wheel bearings are fairly new, nothing is rubbing i just cant seem to figure out what is causing this noise/vibration?? Buddy of mine said ball joint....

01 Focus MTX JRSC, 2.6 pully, and so on.......

Have your bearings checked again. Also see if you can detect any evidence that the tire might be rubbing on something - brake hose, fender liner, etc.

Also check the nuts on the top of the strut towers, make sure the struts are nice & snug.

Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.

Possible dead strut and or strut mount,Ball Joint,Tie Rod or sway bar link/bushing. Very unlikely to be a wheel bearing unless it has a massive amount of free play.

Good Luck
