I searched for the update to the alternator wiring fix, for power to the voltage regulator, but I cant find it. My alt test good, but puts out no voltage in the car....

I checked the megafuse, it was good, the problem was that the wire to the reference voltage on the alt was broken. All better, car still has tranny issues.

Check with ohm meter from output post on alternator to starter, starter to battery. If you can reach the alternator Should be the same ohms as touching the meter probes together.

i didnt see any damn way to reach the test points on the alt before i removed it. its so far up there. barely got my small hands in there to get the bolts out after breaking them loose.
