What a dorky little car. I always snicker when I see Foci. I don't care how quick it is or how it handles. It'll always be a nerdmobile-- SVT or not.

IMO, of course  :p

Gee, and here I was thinking they came with 170hp. But according to this well informed dealer they have 160. Do these guys even have a clue?

Isn't that supposed to be 170hp not 160???

And I don't like the Red color, I think the blue though is cool

They had a SVT Focus at SZ. It was nicer than a regular Focus and fairly well executed....but we all agreed that the seating position was too upright and high for our tastes.

Look at the power window area, looks like the same desing on the tours.....but for 2doors. That whole black area looks ugly! I would drive it if it was free :p

Nice. I like the focus SVT. If it were a
4 door I would get one for the wife. 2 SVT
family would be good.... Hmmm, maybe that
means I need a new Cobra instead...flyer

I do like the SVT version, but I wonder if it's really worth it due to the vast number of recalls (already, and the fact that it gets worse gas mileage than the CSVT. I guess what it comes down to is that it's and SVT either way, and for that, I applaud Ford. They do need an SVT/SHO Taurus again. It's been 3 years.

I drove the SVT Focus at SZ and went for a 1.5hr ride on the road rally with lots of twisties. DO NOT pass judgement on something you have not driven or looked at. The car is going to do well in it's segment. Handles beautifully and the tranny feels great. Not the most powerful car but it seems faster then the other cars in it's segment. Interior materials are great as well. Awesome leg room in back as well. More then my 4-door Tour. I would ride in the back seats across country for sure.

It's not the fastest in the segment, but it's close enough. Only problem is how much more can you get out of this engine (N/A, that is). The VW GTi has got either a 180hp 1.8L I4 or the 200hp 2.8L VR6. It is the fastest of the little pocket rockets. I'm not sure they include the RSX Type S in this catagory though. It's REAL nice as well.
