WTF?
Tachometer feature is regardless of transmission, believe it or not ...
All Mystiques have a tach ... most Contours with Zetecs have no tach (the exception being 96-97 GL Sports), most/all with Duratecs have a tach.

According to both my 1995 and 1999 Mystique brochures, Mystiques had tachs as standard equipment. I'm assuming it's the same for all years.

Oh, and don't feel so bad. Between 10-15K was sunk into my Mystique between March 2001 and November 2004. Still sinking money into it to get it back on the road by summer!

I had no tach, in my 95 zetech, so I put one in...just in case my auto. trans blows up I have the option to go to a manual if need be...Its fun to watch, push the petal all the way down and the engine makes all this noise, and the tach goes to 6K, yet I still go nowhere quick?
