nice...good job bro...that guy sure did a bunch of lighting changes...i'm a fan of the third breaklight actually...

but is it really worth the effort though? IMO I don't think they look that great...

agreed...finding any nice parts for mystique is a pain in the ass...so frustrating...but you make do and create your own ideas...hence I've got a couple things that shouldn't be on a Mystique but it's there (ex. nissan spoiler, the SE sideskirts, metallic orange body color)...next in line: I like those vinyl numbers and the smoked Audi sidemarkers, they look hot...

Ya, it's a little frustrating at first...but it forces you to be creative and make your own stuff....what you're left with is some very unique mods.

Have you meshed the grille yet? The mystique grille looks gorgeous with mesh, imo. If you look at the mesh grille faq, i as well as a few other CEGers wrote some info on the 98+ mystique grilles...if you mount the mesh flush, it looks like it came from the factory that way...i have it mounted that way on both of our mystiques.

You can do some cool stuff to the headlamps as well...

You know I always wondered... how did you get the lens clear?

If you look through the threads you'll find more in depth info....but in short...the clear lense is already present in the mystique lamps. The contour lamp uses a red lense with fluting to filter the light and spread it properly...it's all in the one lense. The mystique lamp looks different and is set up different...it uses a clear lense with fluting to first spread the light and send it where it needs to be sent, then a few mm's after, there is a seperate thin red lense of uniform thickness that filters the light leaving only the red that you see.

So basically on the stiques, you can remove that outer red lense, to expose the clear lense....but now there is an open gap that needs to be sealed to make the lamps weatherproof.

Two of the few sets in the world!

Like everyone is saying, if you want these you will have to build them. Both the lamp on the car and the lamp that are mounted have about the same internal setup. The installed lamp actually has more LEDs then the one on the spoiler. The Contour piece is a LOT easier to build then the Mystique lamp. Unless you are really good with your hands, have some patience and lots of time, I would reccomend against building the Mystique pieces.

Though on the other hand, when my Mystique lamps get finished, I do get to try to make a set for the V70R. That will be fun.
