OP theramman Newbie T Joined: Oct 2005 Posts: 6	I have a 98 Contour 2.0L (DOHC) and the trans has given up the ghost. I have been scouring the yards and have been noticed there are about 6 different CD4Es used that year. I have a F83P-DA, but can I use any of the others? ie F73P-BA, F83P-DB, F73P-BB? Thanks!

To the best of my knowledge they are all compatible. I could be wrong though... 1999 Mystique LS V6 Alpine CDA-9807, Rear deck sub, Opt. TB, K&N RU-3530/MAF adaptor, custom heatshield, FSVT 17's, SCT 4-program chip, Eibach's/ST200's, Hella Fogs...

Somewhere I heard that one series will work as a swap for some of the others, but they won't all work the other way around. I have a f73bb and was told to stay with that code or face possible incompatibility with the PCM.
