Don't ask where I got this 1. Drill hole 2. Notice it's not big enough so bust out cutting tool 3. Make a nice "window" 4. Pry window open 5. "Work" the beast's innards 6. Bang shut and prep for welding 7. Finish up the job with the mig welder Enjoy!

Thanks. Now my buddy and I have a set of instructions to follow when we install my Y-pipe next week. Because frankly we were stumped as to how to get that thing out. Cool job.

Hey!! Who is that masked man?!!! Now, there was no choice, you understand... the manifolds were breaking up inside...couldn't let them destroy the engine internals, now could we?

The muffler shop welded the hole for $5 cash. I didnt have to tap and bolt the hole. He covered the weld with a grey goo. A real bargain. I now have to tighten up the nuts and tighten up the new shoshop y-pipe.
Dyno at the Dyno Shop next week for $50 two back to back run, and $10 more if I want to put a mod on and dyno again. I might order the 75mm MAF to see the results.
Current mods on an 91k 1998 SE: KKM, Mystery Mod, Shoshop offroad y-pipe, Dynomax muffler. I hope for 155hp / 150tq.

Anyone has an update on that link? It doesn't link up anymore... I'd like to do mystery to the pre-cats now that I have the Brullen cat-back. But all I have is a small handheld rotary tool, and I have no welder.

Putting a Y-pipe in this weekend and can't decide if I want to do this. How much louder is it? How many more hp do you gain? I want to keep it relatively quiet, but if the gains are considerable I might still do it.
