that was the suggested retail price... im sure it will be a little cheaper than that. my question is the same, which one would be better?
99 svt contour -its fast. period. 91 mustang gt -its faster. period. 86 Buick Grand National - its way faster, double period!

to order go here ( FRPP Site ). Click on where to buy and go to an FRPP outlet near you, place order at that FRPP authorized dealership. As far as which is better...FRPP seems to think the Torsen is better. ( Read here )

Engine,trans/subframe out,strip trans,'set up' diff bearing clearences-bearings etc,book Ford time is arund 9-11 hrs I think,between $800-1000.....I'll get you a price on a Torson from us,ahipped or fitted by HMS Inc to you trans or car..Regards Terry Haines,HMS Inc

torsen has a better torque bias than the quaife, and I think the unit is supposed to be a bit more durable (not that the quaife has problems w/ it)

Where's that guy who works for Torsen when you need him? I remember he was talking about better gear contact and durability in the Torsen. Of course...

Both diffs operate on the same engineering design,I think its a case of 'my dif's better than your diff' re the 'special' features etc.I will advise later today what I can offer the Torsen at to CEG's.Regards Terry Haines,HMS Inc
