I got no heat. It slowly comes on. Fan works. It was working great up until last night. I don't see anything coolant coming out of the water pump. So I'm thinking thermostat? Em I right or is there something else to look for? Thanks.

Yes. It's probably a thermostat. My moms taurus had the same problem. It would give heat but it would take like an hour. Changed the thermostat, blows heat instantly.

If the temp gauge comes up to where it usually does, it is not likely the t-stat.
If it is not the t-stat:
You may have a restriction in the heater core or the hoses to it.
You may have a problem with the blend air door not swinging to the heat position.
You may have a problem with the temp control so that nothing happens as you turn the dial.

If the engine temp seems high, the waterpump could be bad.
