speaking of moosing people that have that problem does it happen year round or just when its cold? i get it only when cold... not only that i just recently changed my oil and when to a full synthic instead of a blend and add TX-7 (like lucas only better) and it has gone away for the most part... so whats the deal??

It seems to happen more often when there is a temperature change, and of that, more often when it changes to colder.

yeah, i changed to fully synthetic too, and it's moosing real bad. i have no idea if one thing has to do with another. but i wanna get the parts on the tsb, i just need to make sure my tour has the old ones on it.

no diagrams yet? i saw one somewhere and i forgot to save the link, i can't find it anymore.

mine only mooses if i have it idling then start revving it a few times.sometimes it completely stalls, othertimes not. it's embarrassing when you're at a car show and trying to show someone your exhaust by revving it and then it starts to moose, lol.

mooses during cold weather. i tried a small piece of brake line and it helped a little. i pulled it and used a 1/2inch washer with maybe 1/4inch opening and the car hasnt made a peep since then. moose completely gone

Left picture 97 fix. Right picture looks like a combination of stock and 96 bagpipe fix.

Illustration 2 in this article shows the stock inlet tubing as "old style" and the 96 bagpipe fix as "new style".
