Alright, its been, y'know snowing here in Ohio these past two days. And latley when I go to do a cold start it takes 4 turn overs to fire. I know it may be common in the cold, I just wanna check.

Yep, our Contours hate the cold. If you can, try plugging in an engine block heater.

Alright, that would work for home, does it need a standard 120 volt connection?

i have always had cold start problem with all 3 of mine. the two I have now have block heaters,so I'm gonna try them out this winter and see how it goes. My Duratec needs a new starter though, whenever it's cold and I start he car,the starter keeps spinning for up to 30 sec after the engine is running.

I had the same problem about a month ago. Make sure the IAC valve is clean.
The Contour doesn't like cold weather.
