OP mikey Member M Joined: May 2000 Posts: 64 Point Roberts,WA	I've heard people talk about the exhaust rasp when they've done exhaust changes. What exactly causes the rasp?? I just noticed that I have a fairly bad one, (the car that is), until the engine warms up. I've just got a SHO Shop Y, and I've never heard of this happening. Guess I should quit listening to "The Who", and switch to "James Taylor".......NAHHHH! Cat-backs that utilize a large primary muffler near the factory location (i.e. Borla) don't have any rasp to speak of, while others that have the majority of the dampening done near the rear (i.e. Bassani) do.
