I have been experiencing a problem with my brake lights where the left or right does not work only the third (high mounted) one works & after numerous checks I discovered that the cause of the problem was the connector for the rear turn/stop light circuit attached to the Combination Switch. The connector has a defective connector on the 29S (O/Y) power lead I had to stuff a piece of wire behind it in order to get the stop lights to work.
It appears that Ford is using inferior wires & connectors hence the recall on the engine wire loom. As a consequence of this problem & the temporary fix to my rear turn/stop light circuit problem I am using this medium to ascertain whether anyone knows where replacement connectors for the ΓΆβ?¬Λ?Tour can be obtained.

Try your Ford dealer or maybe www.teamfordparts.com, Bill Jenkins. Make sure the contact is snapped into the plastic plug, but it sounds like the gripper just got weak.
