That, my friends, is the epitome of efficiency! But, you guys haven't seen the newest thing Boeing has up its sleeve! http://www.boeing.com/news/releases/2005/q4/nr_051114h.htmlIt may not be as big as the A380, but it is 20% more efficient! Expect to see this queen within the next 4 years. I know I'm getting type rated in both when I get my ATP!
Is my car for sale? PM me if you're in South FL.

Oh, and a few weeks ago, a friend from Singapore witnessed Singapore Airlines delivery of their first A380. Expect that flight within a few months.
I just love being a pilot! Don't you?

it wasnt really a delivery..just A380 touring the globe and going to its customers country wearing their airline livery..

Hmm..Didn't know that. Thanks, man!
I'm not the only aviator around here! I'm not the only one that lounges around A.net either (it's an inside thing)!
You know, just last week at an airshow close to where I live, the legendary Scott Crossfield gave a brief presentation on his contribution to aviation and aerospace (for those of you who don't know who Scott Crossfield is, which is, 99.8% of you, he flew the X-15, the first airplane to fly sub-orbital. Its technology was vital to the space program, and was one of the precursors to the Space Shuttle).
