I'd love for this site to use vBulletin. It's easy to admin and use, flexible, has a ton of third-party support, and has a search that's actually usable (unlike the current software). Plus they have a tool that can import all the users, posts, etc. from this forum.

My business partner and I run a very elaborate website, and it accounts for most of my income. We keep overhead to an absolute bare minimum and only pay for stuff when absolutely necessary. Every single piece of software used is free, written in-house, or a combination of the two. Except the forums--no free software can come close to VB. I've certainly looked.

And no, I don't work for them.
