for my gauge i had to run a power and a ground first then you run the third wire to the left side of the engine if your looking at it with the hood open.. then there should be a group of 3 connectors one on top the other connected to a bracket that is connected to the engine and you want to tap your wire from the air/fuel gauge into the white wire w/ the red tracer..

I ran the power down into the fuse box somewhere, probably the windshield wipers just make sure you put it on a fuse that turns on only with the ignition on.. I have pictures i found on a thread somwhere that shows the wires but i can't find them but i can email them to you if i can figure out your e-mail address..

i hooked it to my ignition fuse, the signal wire is easy..just run the wire to the front of the engine...you'll see the harness for the o2 sensor, find the white wire with the red line, tap into it,real easy

I've emailed you the pictures of where the wire is you want to tap into.. Now maybe somebody can help me w/ my Air/Fuel problem.. Last night i decided to take off my aftermarket intake b/c it is starting to snow here so i put the stock intake back on and the stock screen that goes b/w the MAF and the filter... Today when i went to school my air/fuel gauge would have like the last 3 or for lights lit up on Lean when i had it over 80% throttle... It always would light up the last 3 rich lights when it was 80% throttle which is what it is supposed to do.. It works correctly when i'm going down the road (bouncing back and forth).. does anyone know what could be wrong?? i recet the battery so hopefully that helps..

You have to remember that these a/f gauges aren't really all the accurate. Plus with changes in weather and what not it could be lean. If you have it hooked up correctly, as already stated above, then its working as it should. If you want to to be MORE accurate check out www.gadgeseller.com. And to answer your other question, there is no backlighting to the gauge, just the LEDs.
