Could someone who's familiar with the central New Jersey/eastern PA region tell me where the local salvage yards are? I guess the best would be one of those "yank-it-yerself" places. I've heard that there are some good places in PA. I'm in Clinton Township, so easy access to I-78.
Thanks.

The one I go to, Harry's U-Pull-It, is in Hazelton, PA (1007 Winters Avenue). There is another Harry's in Allentown, PA. The yard in Allentown is smaller, A LOT smaller, but parts can normally be found. Tell me what you're looking for and I can probably tell you if the Allentown location has it. I'm the U-Pull-It Princess. Feel free to PM me if you need directions or other info.

Actually, I'm looking for a set of factory wheels for my 1998 Subaru Legacy Outback. I'd like a second set of 15" alloys for winter tires. Would you happen to know if they have them and how much they may want? Thanks.

According to my U-Pull-It price list, wheels (aluminum/styled) are $15 ea.. For a Subaru, I don't know what they have. Sorry, I thought it was for your Contour. I never hit up the Suby area at the yard, only the Ford section. I can tell you that it can be very hard to find a set of wheels there (either place). Again, I'm speaking from what I've seen in the Ford section.
Sorry, wish I could have been more help.

I also go to Harry's. Alloy wheels are usually hard to find though. Sometimes you can find one or 2 but a set of 4 would be difficult. Most of the times the car has been hit and some of the wheels are damaged. The alloy wheels go fast.
I may be there this week end if the weather is nice and I can block off the time. It is an hour and a half to get there for me.

Rich, if you go to Harry's...look at the pre-98's and you'll notice that all the good antenna bases are gone, you'll know I've been there. If you see the Mystique missing the front and rear seats, I was there also. Matt R has them in his tour now. Have fun! That's my favorite place.
