what is this part?

My car is leaking coolant out of this part of the car. Its whole black thing that connects to the radiator hoses. The coolant isnt leaking that bad but enough to see where it is coming from. I think i may need to replace a gasket.

its not leaking out of the thermostat housing its the one below that where the bottom hose is. Anyone know what that part is called?

ok, for the thermostat housing, would it be a screw in or a clip in sensor?
