I've had a rattling sound coming from the front of my engine for a couple of weeks and I believe I've narrowed it down to the A/C compressor clutch.
Has anyone done this job?
Does the compressor have to be removed and the system discharged?
I didn't find much info in a search, but someone stated that they had the dealer do it and it looked rather difficult.

Thanks for the reading material. My Haynes manual and the Ford cd don't cover this problem, I'm going to look at it tommorrow and see if I can figure it out.
