haahaa "owned"! No doubt! Yeah you really gotta love stupidity. I lost my '93 'stang to one of those wonderful ol' people. I posted this somewhere else and can't remember where....any hoo, this lil ol lady in her HUGE Land yaht...1985 or so, maybe '90 Mercury Grand Marquis, is trying to figure out how to get off the interstate and M E R G E into traffic. What does she do....I am glad you asked. Well she comes to a STOP at the bottom of the BEGINNING of the merge lane. Mind you, this is also dumping into another main drag near a mall. She figures it out! She SLLLOOOWWWWLLLLY enters the merge lane and begins. I am two cars back. She cuts into traffic in front of cars and begins down the road. Not too far down and my mind set is "pass her and make it up the road" I am in the far left lane when she decides ooops she wants to turn in front of me and turn in a place that isn't even where you are supposed to turn....in front of cars trying to turn left opposite direction. So the yaht turns in front of me. Oh...one more thing....it has rained and everything is wet. Cars immediately on my right...nowhere to go BAM! I spun her car 180 degrees across the area where she was not supposed to have turned in the first place. Get insurance! Sad story....but hey, it is how I got the Mystique.  So it's all good But this is a daily occurance here Rich

Removed both intake resonators and airbox. Installed APC air filter and APC crankcase ventilation filter. Removed exhaust resonator.
Installed XM Satellite Radio. Replaced bad alternator and 175a fusible link...much fun!
Intake plenum---GONE!!!!

I was driving from NJ to Miami for a 6 month job, with all my stuff in my beloved Merkur XR4Ti, and it route 7, coming back from the Pancake house,,,a Chinese guy with a lincoln town car decides to make a right hand turn to the other side of the divided highway, from the far left lane. Rt 7 is a highway with lights. If you want to go back, you have to loop around and wait at a perpendicular stop light..well, I T-boned him at the rear quarter panel. The guy never showed up in the NJ court,,,I couldnt find the Mo Fo,,,and my lovely Allstate Insurance stiffed me big time.
Funny how this country wants to legislate our safety into everything paralyzing us in a way, but any A"hole can drive and own animals...
I hate idiots!!!!

OOOOHHHH soooo true.... matter of fact FYI: beware of just about any high school driver, they all are running off of horomones and adrenaline, especially when they are with their friends and are in a car they didnt even pay or work for!!!!

Im also on 98 SE's side. Your stereotype is wrong, I also paid for my cars, I totaled my first one, and I knew the suffering, so saying that all HS students are horrible is a bad association, I take care of this car, and only drive it wild when appropriate, such as on the track yesterday. As for getting out of school parking lots, I always get to be first so I just stay right on bus's a$s and get out easily

I bet 90% of HS ricers have momma and poppa to foot the bill. No way anyone working part time after school and on weekends making minimum wage could afford a new Honda Civic and the thousands of dollars that APC and the like charge them for that riceboy ****. I work full time making $12.34/hr and I'm lucky to have a few spare bucks to buy lunch at the company cafeteria after I pay my bills. Not counting all the money I have borrowed from my folks.
