Okay, I've got a question. I tried searching, but it's not working properly for me and it would probably take 5 years to find what I want anyways.
What does a chip do exactly, dont say boost power cause i know that, but how does it affect the power output, what is the difference between the codes you can buy, and how do i know which one to buy?
A website maybe would explain this? if so, which one?

a chip can do just about everything, at least the SCT software. Change the fuel curve, timing curve, remove governors, raise the redline, turn off sensors, etc, etc.

The code you have is located on the pcm underneath the passenger side footwell. Its on a white piece of paper. Youll probably have to remove the clip to see what exactly it says. It should be in the form of something like XXY2. (three letters and one number).

If you want a dyno proven chip get an SCT chip from ADC or an Xcal from ADC or brenspeed.

The specs on the stock computer are tuned fairly safely. this is to allow for almost NO POSSIBLE harm to be caused, regardless of how you drive your car (one extreme to the other)

However, the engine itself is capable of producing more power, etc, if the computer would allow it. This is where the chips come in. they remove the stock, limiting code of x% timing, or fuel, and replace it with a more aggressive, but still safe and proven, level. In comes the power, and fun.

As always.. this should be the LAST THING YOU DO TO YOUR CAR. PERIOD. unless you like spending money (you would have to reburn the chip every time you bought another performance mod for the car, like an intake or exhaust, etc...)

Yeah, a GENERIC chip.

All I can say is at least you have the bidding price sensible.

For all those looking at a Superchip. A generic reflash is $50-100. A custom tune is $350-400 and that's just the tune. (no dyno time)

Stick with an Xcal unit for that price!!!

I got it mainly to get rid of the speed limiter, which it did quite nicely. It's a simple 10 minute fix for that little issue. It also gave a slight bump in mid- and upper-range power when used with premium gas. The 'tour was my daily driver, winter beater. It served it's purpose in that capacity.

Cuz its burned for the mods you have done to take full advantage of them.
