I just wanted to let all of you fellow CEGers know that if you are wanting a good price on a Borla kit but are willing to wait a few weeks, Muscle Motors is the place to go. I did post previously on another thread about the Borla warning CEGers about M.M. but when I sit down and think about it, it is no fault of theirs but of Borla's production methods. I think on that day I was just really really frustrated and tense about seeing my car sit in front of my apartment outside my window for the past couple of weeks waiting on the exhaust kit and I just let go of some steam that burnt the wrong people. Whoever I talked to on the phone was VERY polite to me, and dealt with my situation well throughout the entire transaction process. For as many times as I have called (maybe once a week or so) they had every right to tell me to just park my happy butt and wait, but they were completely cooperative and friendly with me, which I appreciate. He informed me today that some Cougar customers who had ordered a Borla kit have been waiting 4 months for their kits, which really puts my 4 weeks in perspective. I realized that M.M. is really at the mercy of Borla for their supply, and if they are out, they are out. This was not any fault of their own, IMO and when I put things in perspective it was a pleasure to do business with Muscle Motors. Sorry for taking up bandwidth, but when a business does me right, I feel the need to post it so that others can have an insight on where to go when it comes time to order their parts. I wish to thank M.M. and we will see on Nov. 1st if it gets here and how well it does on my modest little SE. Thanks for your time guys.

Muscle Motors is awesome in my opinion. I bought my 75mm MAF thruough him, emailed him at 1100pm and at 1130pm had a response. how many people give that kind of service?? I responded to EVERY one of my emails. Also, from what I've seen he has the cheapest prices around too.

I bought my Carbon Fiber Tipped Borla system from MM over a year ago. I had to wait like 3 months for it. It sucked!

Who do I blame?? Borla and MM. MM never told us before the group buy that they didnt have these kits in stock. Nor did they find out how long production would take to build these kits. Is that their responsiblity? Id say yes. The Borla blame just goes to the fact that it took 3 months to get the kit built... They told me it was because of the Carbon Fiber being backorderd, but nobody received their phantom tip SS sytems either.

So Take it for it is.. If you want a good price and are willing to wait alittle while (unless he has stuff in stock) go MM.. If you want it now, and are willing to pay the extra bucks.. Order somewhere else.

Muscle Motors doesn't stock anything if I remember correctly. They contact the Manufacturer and usually have it drop-shipped to your door.

I was probably the 1st one here to use them about 3 years ago with my 1994 Cobra, and I spread the word over here about their great prices when I started to buy parts for the Contour.

All in all, they have Awsome prices and pretty good service...and like stated before, sometimes you just have to wait.
