I have recently had my front wheel alignment on my 1996 2.0L â??Tour checked & have been advised that the bushings on my â??Lower Control Armâ? (LCA) will soon require replacement & check have revealed that the best price available for replacement parts are $117.555 R.H. & $136.67 L.H. quite a nice chunk of change. I have done some investigation & discovered that replacement ball joints (part#F5RZ3V078B) are available for approximately $30.00; however, while I am able to locate the (vertical type) bushing for LCA I unable to find the (horizontal type) bushing for the LCA which is the type on my vehicle. As a consequence, I am using this medium to ascertain whether anyone has used this repair method & as such can indicate where I can obtain the horizontal type LCA bushing.

You can't get them. You have two choices: either order new arms from Black96SE, assuming he can ship them to you, or get a shop to press in brass bushings. The brass will be a harsher ride, but better handling, and last forever.

black96SE is Nima's screen name. Just use the Private Message function under "My Home"

I attempted to send a private message as you suggested, howevr, I ended up getting the following message "We have no record for the User that you are trying to send this message to". Do you have any other suggestions.
