Maybe he was agressive and/or did something we didn't see on video (like a high speed chase and he's running away...)
All I have to say is that is how you should deal with criminals... take em out!

Maybe the cops should have brought him a nice cup of hot chocolate and a peanut butter and jelly sandwich with the crust cut off before escorting him down to the station.
