I have searched and searched for over 2 weeks to try to find a similar question, maybe I suck at searching...
Anyway, I have a 99 Mystique, with 17lbs injectors, mods are a Diablo chip and a bosal catback right now.
I will be installing the SVT TB, and MSDS headers (oh my God they are beautiful)along with the optimized Y-pipe within a couple of weeks.
A future mod will be the ill fated supercharger kit.
I do not beleive 17lbs will support the full exhaust and intake mods, they definately will not support the supercharger.
Can I buy 24# injectors and have the chip tuned 2 times? First for the full exhaust/TB combination, then for the future supercharger mod. OR should I just get 19#ers then follow up with larger injectors when I install the Supercharger?
Any advice would be appreciated.

First off, the chip should be the LAST thing you buy. That way you wont be required to reburn it after every mod. Your injectors should be more than enough untl you get a supercharger. Then...if you buy a supercharger kit for the car specifically, it should have new injectors(?). Anyways...I'd pull the chip, perform all the mods you want to do, then get it burned accordingly.

24 lb injectors will be sufficient. Id recommend a stage 1 clutch upgrade as well. The Vortech doesnt make much more torque than a 3.0L swap, so a SPEC 1 will be more than enough.
I would personally get rid of the Diablo and go with a chip from ADC after the SC.
Dont forget to upgrade the jackshaft!

He has 17lb injectors now...don't you think thats enough for his small amount of mods? I can see 24lbs down the road with some sort of forced induction.
Good advice on the chip. ADC's chip's are the preferred here as they have a lot of experience with our cars.

i was saying, 24lb injectors would be sufficient enough for the supercharger. 17 lb injectors are plenty for what hes got right now.

If you need 19# or 24# injectors, let me know. I've got a set of both that I'd be willing to part with.

Okay thanks for the advice, it seems like I was wrong in assuming 17# would not support Headers, SVT TB, Modded Y, MAF and Catback. Thanks for the advice guys, saved me some money..
