I still love the contours and all, and I damn well miss my old mystique, but this is my car now and I have to deal with it. Could you guys give me your honest opinion without the whole "it's a honda" crap. I know at least one guy is going to say it just because I asked them not too but just give me your opinions please.

Contour styling is behind some of this. Making sure I don't rice it out.

New pics are one page 3. Old pics on page 2. List of mods on page one.

Thanks.

looks pretty groovy. I am actually a fan of honda's since they last so long and get great gas mileage. I just roll my eyes everytime i see a civic with nothing but a 3 foot fart canister muffler hanging off of the back with the driver thinking he has a pimped out ride. I like your styling though and definetly good work on the car.

Looking great! Subtle and tasteful... practical for a daily driver, too.

She normally rounds out about 25-26 mpg. It's not the best but I got a lead foot. I'm all about the "keep it clean" look and I don't want the crazy obsessive body kits and [censored]. Thanks for the comments and keep em' coming.

Decent. Get a turbo kit on it - which for a Honda is like $100 tops and give it some muscle to match the looks.

Tastefully done modified five-speed Accord ... very rare combination. I've seen those taillights on others, finally a company decided to make decent aftermarket lights.

That is my favorite generation Accord. One of my friends has a '96. They seem to rust prematurely behind the rear wheels, which deterred me from looking at them, but otherwise a fine auto for its purpose.

the turbo for this one is 1500 and increases hp by like 40% over stock.

This car came fully loaded with everything EX except for the vtec motor and ex wheels. No fogs or spoiler either. I added the wheels and spoiler later.

This one had the rust. I fixed it myself. You can BARELY tell in the pics and you have to stare at the spot to see it up close.

Lookin good man. . .I got a 94 last spring break haven't done much to it, but AEM CIA. That car would look hot with JDM headlights(either DIY or real). Definantly can't go wrong with the good gas milage, mine gets about 34 on the freeway and I love it I can go almost 500 miles on one tank.

I give it a thumbs up... Tasteful ground effects and rear spoiler... and a normal paint job.

Seems every Honda I see is like what was desribed (coffee can muffler) plus a crazy paintjob and park bench.

I hope they don't rust out this bad:

That was my 90 Accord EX... and yes, that does say "FIRE TRUCK" and those are pink fuzzy dice. Let me tell ya, they were 50 cents at Walmart so I bought them. Everyone was like "huh huh you're gay huh huh huh" my Junior year of HS, but my Senior year everyone had them... hmmm...

I liked it, but it only ran on 2 cylinders. It needed a new distributer, but I coudln't see spending $200+ on a car that was worth just about as much. Another thing was it had bad rings... it would blow a thick cloud of blue smoke up near 5/6K RPM.

Then the water pump failed and I just kept driving it until I got my first Contour. Thing didn't have any problems driving for 20 or so minutes with a pegged temp guage.

When it did run, it was good for this:

Most of the ones I've seen (both for sale and around town) aren't that bad, but are rotted about 1/2 that and well on their way to being worse. My friend's '96 is one of the *very* few I've seen without any rust back there.
