I'm posting this for Todd (todras) since he's been temporarily banned but still felt that this could benefit that of CEG. Maybe this will go into showing that I'm not here just to cause ruckuses. If you cannot get a hold of him, feel free to PM/eMail me and I will forward your messages along to him.

I got banned for some reason. If someone could
explain that would be great.

I. Anywho some of us actually do contribute to this site.
This is a better alternative for those that dont want to splice up their 02 wiring and have gutted their cats or installed headers. Head to Napa and get a pair of 18mm spark plug non foulers.

II. The inside is very narrow as you can see.

III. Grab a drill with a 1/2" bit and put the non fouler in
a vice to hold it.

IV. When you're done the 02 head will be recessed into the
fouler. That way then the exhaust gas is rushing by
at high velocity it won't be directly in stream and as
sensitive. Same principle as the MIL's but 1/4 of the
hassle. Easily removable too.

V. Put her back in and fire it up. I read a while about
the Subie guys doing it. Thanks to Mr. Haines for reminding me.

Any questions, my email is in my profile since I can't use PM's either. Or wait 3 weeks until I can play again.

That is awesome. I'll most likely do this come time to install the headers.

I don't know why he got banned, but good to resurrect this information.
Still, that style mil eliminator is old news and I've read it doesn't always work. It makes it exposed to less exhaust gas but unless there isn't enough gas to trigger the sensor to read then it will still generate the voltage based on the ratio of O2 in the gas.

The electrical ones preserve the shape of the signal oscillation but just drop the voltage and amplitude of the waves.

For as good as they are, I think that soldering a 1uF cap in parallel with the sensor signal wires and a 1 megaOhm resistor in series with the signal wire is very easy.

I make them up in about 5 minutes per sensor, put some heat shrinkwrap on them and then reinstall the sensor. No drilling cutting, etc.
You'll pay like $3 bucks for the parts unless you don't own a soldering iron.
