Hey everyone. I just got my new OBD II today and its brilliant! I feel kinda Ricey like the guy in the fast and the furious ridin around with graphs and guages and stuff but its great information! I went out and tested my open air intake setup vs. my stock setup today. Now I just gotta figure out what everything else on the program is that I cant understand. Just thought I'd let everyone know of my joyous occasion!

Here's a tip: only have the program polling the data you really want. Once you get more than 5 or 6 variables going, the sample rate gets REAL slow. If you focus just on the data you want, you can get much more detailed info. Enjoy!

By the way, that software has already paid for itself twofolds since I got it three weeks ago!

No, the bus only runs at 19200 baud, so you do have a limiting factor on refresh speeds.

I was messing around with mine the other day and reset the exhaust/emmisions data. Now the car idles at 15MPH (let the foot of the brake and the car goes through first and idles at 15MPH) Did I severely screw it up?

OK, Icey... I need that stuff. I'm wondering if the group buy is still going on. I need one, since I recently aquired a free laptop (Compaq Armada 1700 P2 266) *legally* and would like to know what is going on in my PCM.
Icey, you gonna be at Lane on Sat, could you bring it with you??
