When I hit bumps, cracks, etc there is a klunking sound coming from the drivers front side of the car. I have checked the Ball joints, and the tie rods, and they seem to be tight and solid. Any ideas what the noise may be? Thanks.

Could be splash shield (fender cover) or lower radiator deflector coming loose.

It sounds more "connected to the car" if that makes any sense. I will check those things though. Thanks.

Broken front spring? Hard to notice, since it usually breaks much higher/closer to the perch than usually/easily visable from the wheel-well.
a recall on that very item would indicate the possibility to happen, at least

Maybe the sway bar link is bad, it will clunk. Resembles vertical o---o , behind the cv joint/axle.

Yeah im going to have to say a sway bar end link, I need to replace both of mine

Something else to add to the list would be a dead strut or possibly even the strut mount

Darn, I guess if it's the spring or strut I'll just have to start researching what new stuff I should put on my car and lower it.  Thanks for the input. I didn't know that there was a recall on the springs.
